Latest on the ‘gram

Redoing some of my product photos so that I can have more consistency across my listings and my website xD If you're local, you can find me at the Elgin Farmer's Market this summer! I'll be doing 4 Fridays this summer: June 19, July 17, July 31, and Aug 14! Tutu tacking day two! This time I'm attaching the petals to the tutus so they don't flop while the girls are dancing xD Trying something new today! Batch sewing is so nice! Prepped pockets for 9 bags - 2 mesh one vinyl per bag. Four teacher gifts, four for my shop, and one selfish sew :D A quick sneak peek at my next project. You won't get to see the finished project until mid-May as it's set of gifts and at least two of the recipients are on Instagram and follow my personal account xD they'll know the fabric but won't have any clue what they're getting until the week before our recital! That moment when you go the quilt shop to pick up $8 worth of bag hardware (thank you @lindazs for having some bag hardware!) for your next project, and walk out with 7 yards of fabric you have zero concrete plans for. This floral almost literally screamed my name - even my husband agreed. Who can relate? Both projects finished! Both turned out easier than I expected - even the bodice with boning! The boning was honestly easier than sewing in a zipper and I do those all the time for my bags. So here's a fun thing about @northwest_ballet_academy
